September 2026: SUP Application Amendment Submitted to the City
We recently submitted an amendment to our SUP application in response to feedback from the City of Richmond and ongoing community engagement.
This amendment responded to questions from City officials and further simplified the definition of “Community Center Events”:
No more than 36 Community Center Events with more than 40 attendees per year
No more than 18 of those 36 ending after 6pm
In line with definitions in prior versions, Community Center Events with more than 40 attendees would be:
Listed on a public calendar
Required to arrange for valet parking at offsite locations, with attendees traveling to 1836 Park via shuttle or on foot
Prohibited from opening doors or windows if amplified sound is in use
Prohibited from outdoor activity
